They are experts in strategy, marketing, operations, transformations, sustainability, and more, and they utilize their knowledge to transform their clients' businesses in order to maximize profit, efficiency, and impact. This year, panelists and roundtable discussion leaders hail from a wide range of professional backgrounds and together, they will share their experiences entering and working in the consulting industry. Mary Bittner , AB'16

People Advisory Services: Global Equity team, Ernst and Young

Ms. Bittner graduated from the College in 2016 with a degree in Public Policy, specializing in Business and Economics and minoring in Norwegian Studies. While in the College, she was involved with Varsity Soccer, MUNUC, UChicago Careers in Business, UChicago Sports Business club, Nonpareil food magazine and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. After graduating, she joined Ernst & Young LLP where she is now a consultant on the Global Equity team within People Advisory Services. Her work focuses on the international taxation of long-term incentive programs. She lives in Chicago and continues to be an active member of the University community by attending UChicago Alumni Book Club meetings and helping with UCIB alumni events. (Table 21)

Steven Boland, AB'15

Analyst, Talent and Rewards, Willis Towers Watson

Mr. Boland graduated from the College in 2015 with a degree in Economics. He is a current analyst at Willis Towers Watson and helps clients maximize return on human capital investment through strategic compensation plan design. (Table 14)

Melinda Chou, AB'16

Analyst, Epsilon Economics

Ms. Chou graduated from the College in 2016 with a degree in Economics. Ms. Chou is currently an Analyst at Epsilon Economics, where she focuses on the application of economic theory and statistical analysis to intellectual property valuation, breach of contract disputes, class action lawsuits, and antitrust claims. Her consulting experience covers a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, technology, and consumer goods. (Table 15)

Philip Crean, AB'16

Jr. Associate, Growth Consulting, IRI

Mr. Crean graduated from the College in 2016 with a degree in History. While in the College, he was involved with MUNUC, Eckhart Consulting, and the Chicago Journal of Foreign Policy. After graduating from the College, Mr. Crean joined IRI's Growth Consulting practice, where he is a Jr. associate in the Chicago office. His work focuses on providing strategic advisory services to top consumer goods manufacturers and retailers. He lives in Chicago and remains active in the University community through IRI's campus recruiting initiatives and by advising Eckhart Consulting case teams. (Table 15)

Maria Ekpo, AB'12

MBA Student

Ms. Ekpo is a current Booth MBA student. Prior to business school, she was a management consultant at Accenture and Invoyent, a boutique consulting firm. She worked in the healthcare space on process improvement, strategic planning, and operational excellence projects. Upon graduation from Booth, Maria will be joining Discover's Strategic Leadership Development Program. (Table 22)

Chuni Fann, AB'16

Analyst, Cornerstone Research

Mr. Fann graduated from the College in 2016 with a degree in Economics and Statistics. After graduating from the College, Mr. Fann joined Cornerstone Research where he is now an analyst. (Table 16)

Matthew Gonwa, MBA'12, SB'07

Director, The Cambridge Group

Mr. Gonwa graduated from the College in 2007 with a degree in Mathematics. After graduating, he worked at The Institute for Defense Analyses, a government think tank, providing advice to the Department of Defense on resource allocation decisions. He returned to UChicago to attend the Booth School of Business, where he received his MBA in 2012. Since 2012, Mr. Gonwa has worked as a growth strategy consultant at The Cambridge Group, where he focuses on identifying profitable opportunities to help clients improve top-line performance across execution levers, including positioning, innovation, retail activation, and media targeting. Thomas Healy, AB'16

Business Analyst, Mr.

Mr. Healy graduated from the College in 2016 with a degree in Economics. He was involved with Eckhart Consulting, UCIB, and the Brazilian Students Association while on campus. After graduating, Mr. Healy joined The Cambridge Group, a growth strategy consulting firm in Chicago. (Table 16)

Maggi Heneghan, AB'16

Business Analyst, Deloitte Consulting LLP

Ms. Heneghan graduated from the College in 2016 with a degree in Public Policy specializing in the U.S. social safety net and was a member of UChicago Careers in Business. While in the College, she was the President of Moot Court, a member of HealthLeads, and co-founded a student loan platform company with two other alumni from her year. Ms. Heneghan joined Deloitte's Chicago office in 2016 as a Business Analyst. Her work at Deloitte has largely focused on location strategy and helping companies find the optimal place to locate operations, which has taken her to locations across the globe including Iceland and Egypt. She is also part of the UChicago recruiting team for S&O Consulting at Deloitte. Outside of work Ms. Heneghan is an avid traveler and loves hiking. She is currently planning a white water rafting trip out West. (Table 17)

Anton Hopkins, AB'16

Associate, L.E.K. Consulting

Mr. Hopkins graduated from the College in 2016 with a degree in International Studies and Public Policy Studies with a specialization in Organizational Management. While in the College, he competed with the UChicago Judo Club, worked in Alumni Relations & Development, mentored students through UChicago Careers in Business, and served as an RA for Alper House. During his summers, Mr. Hopkins worked in government, automotive manufacturing, and corporate finance. After graduation, Mr. Hopkins joined L.E.K Consulting in Chicago where he has worked for clients in food & beverage, consumer products, healthcare, software, industrials, and private equity. Additionally, Mr. Hopkins oversees non-profit consulting engagements as Client Development Head for LEK Chicago's Inspire office. (Table 23)

Ankit Jain, AB'10, MBA'15

Consultant, Bain & Company

Mr. Jain graduated from the College in 2010 with a degree in Economics. At the College, he was involved with Model UN, the Cricket Club, and in the Housing community as an RA. After graduating he worked for Cornerstone Research in San Francisco, solving complex economic problems arising from commercial litigation. He returned to UChicago to earn his MBA from Booth in 2015 and has since joined Bain & Company as a management consultant. He lives in Chicago and continues to be involved with the alumni community. (Table 18)

Carolyn Jannace, AB'03, MBA'10

Management Consultant, Accenture

Ms. Jannace graduated from the College in 2003 with a degree in Anthropology and from the Booth School of Business with her MBA in 2010. She is currently a Senior Manager with Accenture, working in the firm's talent and organization consulting practice. She is a former board director for the University's Alumni Club in Chicago. In addition, Ms. Jannace volunteers regularly for the Metcalf Fellows Program, the Alumni Board of Governors Externship Program, and other programs. (Table 19)

Garrison Jones, AB'15

M&A Strategy Consultant, Accenture Strategy

Mr. Jones graduated from the College in 2015 with a degree in Public Policy specializing in US Political Economics. While in College, he was involved with several student organizations including The Blue Chips Investment Club, Organization of Black Students, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and OMSA. After graduating, he joined Accenture Strategy where he is currently aligned to the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Strategy group. Mr. Jones has focused on international M&A strategy working on integrations, carve-outs / divestitures, target-screening and valuations, and post-merger re-branding. Mr. Jones has experience working in the US, Mexico City, The Netherlands, and Singapore. (Table 24)

Anna Letsos, MBA'98

Principal, Kamelot Consulting Group LLC

Ms. Letsos graduated from the College in 1992 with a degree in Psychology. She returned for her MBA and received her degree in 1998. Upon graduation, she was recruited to Deloitte Consulting where she was a member of their Strategy and Operations practice for several years before leaving to join a start-up focused on Human Capital Consulting. Ms. Letsos returned to Deloitte in 2004 and spent the next several years leading large-scale initiatives in Talent Development and Learning. Most recently, Ms. Letsos has formed her own company, Kamelot Consulting Group, and spends her time working with clients to develop and execute their Talent Development and Learning strategies. She is married with two children, a Girl Scout leader and the President of the Board for the North Aquatics Club. (Table 20)

Dickson Li, AB'14

Associate, A. T. Kearney

Mr. Li graduated from the College in 2014 with a degree in Economics and a minor in English. While in the College, he was involved with the Blue Chips. After graduation, Mr. Li joined the A.T. Kearney, a global management consulting firm where he is now an Associate. His work focuses on North American logistics transformation and supply chain strategy for consumer products. Mr. Li lives in Chicago and is involved in on-campus recruiting for A.T. Kearney at the University of Chicago. (Table 21)

Scott Loring, AB'15

Analyst, Cornerstone Research

Mr. Loring graduated from the College in 2015 with an honors degree in Economics. While in the College, he sang in the Ransom Notes, worked as an RA in May House and as a tour guide and senior interviewer in College Admissions, and served on College Council. After working as a Summer Analyst at Cornerstone Research in the Silicon Valley Office, Mr. Loring has worked as an Analyst in the Chicago office since 2015. He has worked on regulatory, finance, and antitrust cases within economic consulting, including supporting the Department of Justice in successfully blocking the Aetna-Humana merger. (Table 22)

Georg Muller, AB'91, MBA'97, PhD'98

Managing Director, Deloitte

Mr. Muller graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Economics, and an MBA & PhD in Marketing and Statistics. He started his career as an assistant professor marketing at Santa Clara University, returned to Chicago to join with a fellow Booth graduate to start a healthcare company that was sold to LabCorp, and then went into consulting, first with Strategic Pricing Group which was acquired by Monitor Group, and then with Deloitte. His work focuses on developing new ways of creating, delivering, and monetizing value. He is the author of "Strategy and Tactics of Pricing" (with Tom Nagle), and teaches the executive development program on pricing at Booth. (Table 23)

Patrick Quinn, AB'17

Analyst, Civic Consulting Alliance

Mr. Quinn graduated from the College in 2017 with a degree in Law, Letters & Society. While in the College, Mr. Quinn was involved with the Institute of Politics, The Chicago Maroon, The Blue Chips, and greek life. In the summer of 2017, Mr. Quinn joined the Civic Consulting Alliance, a pro-bono consulting organization serving public sector leaders in the Chicago-land area. His work so far has focused on addressing gun violence and police reform. (Table 14)

Arnav Sharma, AB'16

Associate, L. E. K. Consulting

Mr. Sharma graduated from the College in 2016 with degrees in Economics and Public Policy. During his time at the College, Mr. Sharma was involved with Uncommon Ventures and the Undergraduate Investment Banking Group. After graduation, Mr. Sharma worked in the Chicago office of Charles River Associates before switching to L.E.K. Consulting in April 2017. In his role at L.E.K., Mr. Sharma has worked across 9 different due diligence or growth strategy engagements across industrial, medtech, consumer retail, and education sectors for an array of corporate and private equity clients. Alex Simon, AB'11, MBA'15

Consultant , ZS Associates

Mr. Simon graduated from the College in 2011 with a degree in Political Science, where he was an active participant in The Mark. After graduating from Chicago Booth in 2015, he joined ZS Associates as a Business Consultant, focusing on driving growth within the healthcare industry. In his 2+ years at ZS, he has worked with many multi-national pharmaceutical and bio-tech firms, helping analyze and solve their sales and marketing challenges. He is married and lives in Chicago. (Table 24)

Tiffany Tan, AB'14

Research Associate, Cornerstone Research

Ms. Tan studied Economics and Philosophy during her time in the College and graduated in 2014. While in the College, she was the photo editor of the Maroon as well as a member of PanAsia's board. She joined Cornerstone Research upon graduating and is now a Research Associate in the Chicago office. (Table 19)

Chelsea Zhang, AB'14

Senior Associate Consultant, L. E.K. Consulting

Ms. Zhang received a degree in Economics from the College in 2014. After graduation, she joined L.E.K. Consulting Chicago and is now a Senior Associate Consultant focusing on retail and consumer products. (Table 20)
